Gothic Revival Inspired Bedroom

For this project, I wanted to push myself to do intricate modeling. My sole inspiration for this project was a bed piece I saw on Pinterest with intricate wood detailing. I then realized there were not many references out there with the specific style of bed that I was looking for and with multiple angles. Many of the references I saw were AI-generated, so the photos didn’t make sense. I then found an ornament piece I liked and stuck it onto the bed frame as a separate piece.

I found modeling these intricate pieces to be very rewarding. Seeing a complex shape and then getting the mesh flow to work properly was a process I enjoyed. This project made me realize how important mesh flow is and that it’s one of my favorite processes.
